Question 1

How do I get started with TFC warehousing?

Accepted Answer

Getting started is simple. Contact us via our website or phone to discuss your requirements. We'll provide a tailored quote, and once agreed, we'll onboard you with system access, process documentation, and goods-in scheduling. Most clients are operational within 1-2 weeks.

Question 2

Is there a minimum order or volume requirement?

Accepted Answer

No, we don't have strict minimums. Whether you need to store 5 pallets or 5,000, we offer flexible solutions. For very small volumes, we may recommend our shared storage options for better value.

Question 3

What information do I need to provide to get a quote?

Accepted Answer

To provide an accurate quote, we need: expected pallet/carton volumes, product types, average order volume, storage duration, and any special handling requirements. The more detail you provide, the more accurate our quote.

Question 4

How long are your contracts?

Accepted Answer

We offer flexible terms from rolling monthly agreements to fixed 12-24 month contracts. Longer commitments typically attract better rates. Many clients start with flexible terms and move to fixed contracts as the relationship develops.

Question 5

How is warehousing pricing structured?

Accepted Answer

Our pricing typically includes: storage fees (per pallet/carton per week), handling fees (goods-in and goods-out), pick and pack fees (per order and per item), and shipping costs. We provide transparent quotes with all costs itemised.

Question 6

Are there any hidden fees?

Accepted Answer

No hidden fees. All costs are documented in your quote and agreement. Any additional services like labelling, kitting, or special handling are quoted separately and only charged if you use them.

Question 7

Do you offer volume discounts?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we offer tiered pricing based on volume. Higher pallet counts, order volumes, and longer commitments all qualify for preferential rates. Speak to our team about your expected volumes.

Question 8

When and how am I invoiced?

Accepted Answer

Most clients are invoiced monthly in arrears based on actual usage. Storage is calculated on average weekly pallet count, and handling/fulfilment is charged per transaction. We provide detailed invoices with full breakdowns.

Question 9

What types of products can you store?

Accepted Answer

We store most general merchandise including apparel, electronics, home goods, cosmetics (non-hazardous), books, and packaged foods (ambient). We don't store hazardous goods, high-value items (jewellery, cash), or temperature-sensitive products requiring refrigeration.

Question 10

Is my stock insured while in your warehouse?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we maintain comprehensive warehouse insurance covering goods in our care. Standard cover applies to most products; high-value items may require additional arrangements. We recommend clients also maintain their own stock insurance.

Question 11

Can I visit the warehouse to see my stock?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we welcome client visits. Please arrange in advance so we can ensure the right team members are available to show you around and answer questions.

Question 12

How do you handle damaged goods?
